GRAPHTEC PEN HOLDER — CURRENT TEST FILES
Status snapshot: 13 September 2026

These are prototypes for separate fit questions, not a validated complete
universal holder. Dimensions are in millimeters; use 100% scale.

V17 NOSE-FIT SAMPLE
Purpose: pen entry and nose clearance only; no carriage flange.
Orientation: large opening down, small shaft opening up; supports off.
Reported result: the three pens labeled 1.0, 0.5, and 0.005 enter the opening.
Pending: shaft emergence, writing-tip projection, and retention for each pen.
Keep pressure off the writing point. Do not install this sample in the carriage.

V16 CARRIAGE-FIT SAMPLE
Purpose: flange seating and clamp grip only. The 6 mm bore does not accept the
Copic barrel. This sample does not test writing height or pen retention.
Orientation: wide upper-grip end down, narrow 10.90 mm end up; supports off.
Physical fit result pending. Check with the carriage stationary; do not plot
with this gauge.

V2 RIDGED SCREW CAP
Purpose: improve finger grip on the cap. Use with the existing Concept 01 body
and collet. Thread, pen bore, and pressing face are unchanged.
Orientation: wide ridged band down, threaded stem up; supports off.
Physical print and test pending. Concept 01's parts reportedly fit together,
but the pen still slides when tightened. V2 is not a confirmed fix for pen slip.
Insert the tapered fingers into the body first, with the solid band toward the
cap. Check that the slots are open and that the empty thread pair turns freely.
Observe the cap-to-body gap at a comfortable hand-tight setting. If the cap
contacts the body while the pen slides, it has run out of axial travel.

SLICING REFERENCE
Digital checks used Bambu A1 mini, 0.4 mm nozzle, Generic PLA, 0.16 mm layers,
four requested walls, 15% infill, supports off, and a 3 mm outer brim.
These are recorded test settings, not a physical performance guarantee.

ORIGINAL CONCEPT 01 BENCH KIT
The archive contains the three original grip parts and their original design
notes. Those notes predate the physical print feedback above. The open bench
body tests the gripping mechanism; it is not a complete plotting holder.
